Oyster Tide B&B and Self-Catering has solar power back up and water storage tanks so you won’t be left in the dark or high & dry when power & water outages happen. Security is a top priority so you can feel safe at Oyster Tide. We have off-street parking, an auto close gate, high walls, perimeter electric fencing & panic buttons in all the rooms. In the event of anything, our security company is only a few minutes away.

Oyster Tide is centrally located in Umhlanga Rocks and coveniently close to everything. We are 5 minutes from the business districts of La Lucia Ridge and Umhlanga Ridge Office parks, 6 minutes from the Gateway Hospital and Gateway Theatre of Shopping, 10 minutes from the fabulous La Lucia Mall and within walking distance to the pristine beaches of Umhlanga Rocks and the iconic Oyster Box Hotel. A 5 minute drive or a leisurely downhill stroll will get you to Chartwell Drive where the vibrant and cosmopolitan Umhlanga Village is found. You will be spoilt for choice among the numerous coffee shops, diverse restaurants, bars, boutiques and newly refurbished malls.

Spacious & Spotless Rooms

All our rooms are spacious, air-conditioned and have a private bathroom. Linen and towels are provided and the rooms are serviced daily. Each room is different and has its own charm. Some rooms have self-catering facilities and some are B&B only. Some rooms have a private entrance, balcony or patio and some are located upstairs with sea views. All rooms have access to a upstairs communal kitchen. It is always a good idea to specify what you require so we can give you the best possible fit.
